GARAGE CAFE IS AN EVENT FOR TRY-OUTS, PERFORMANCES, PRESENTATIONS AND MEETING NEW PEOPLE IN THE ARTS.

Garage Cafe creates a platform where young artists and designers are able to share and discuss their artistic practice, creative process and questions surrounding it with an audience, not only to better understand the value of their projects and practice but also how to continue. The night consists of five-six speakers present for 7-10mins. Garage Cafe is an artist-run initiative started by Sue van Geijn - van der Stelt in collaboration with Garage Rotterdam, Willem de Kooning Academy (WdKA) and supported by Centre voor Beeldende Kunst (CBK) Rotterdam. Currently led by Nicole Sciarone (me) in collaboration with Garage Rotterdam, WdKA. Collaboratively working on creating more stages in Rotterdam for anybody with an interesting story.
